ROSEBUD RSL ANNUAL REPORT ATTACHED

 

ANZAC Day

 ANZAC Day Dawn Service is held at the Cenotaph at Rosebud RSL at 6 am. Gunfire Breakfast is served after Dawn Service, a gold coin donation, all welcome.

The ANZAC march steps off from the corner of Point Nepean Road and Ninth Avenue at 9.30 am and is followed by the main ANZAC Service.

Rosebud RSL opens at 12 noon with lunch available, live entertainment, and footy on the Big Screens. All welcome.

We invite all Members of the Community to attend our Services.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day Service is held at the Rosebud RSL Cenotaph from 10.45 am.  This is followed by the presentation of Scholarships to local Primary and  Secondary Students.

All members of the Community are welcome to attend.

Welfare

Rosebud RSL Welfare

Rosebud RSL Sub-Branch prides itself in providing support to veterans and their families/dependants. Veterans include those who serve or served in the Australian Defence Forces (ADF), National Service, Reservists, Allied, and Commonwealth Forces, and with or without overseas service. All the activities below are offered to RSL Service Members and their partners at no cost, as a thank-you for your Service.

This support might include:

  • Information & Referral to Advocacy, Pension and Compensation Assistance
  • Connecting veterans & their families to local organisations and referrals
  • Monthly Service Members Luncheons 12 pm or Breakfasts 9 am (Register at Reception)
  • Home & Hospital Visits
  • Chair Yoga
  • A range of social groups and activities, i.e., Coffee Club, Wine & Cheese tasting, etc
  • Service Members only Loyalty Coffee Card for the Deck Cafe
  • Service Member Only Bus Trips
  • Regular phone well-being check-ins
